I work as a night auditor at a best Western so this is common sometimes at my hotel. And the clerk got every right to defend himself because u clearly can see how the guy enters the front desk the breach of our security so that's why I carry on a pepper spray which glady I did to this guy who was being violent towards me throwing things at me 1nce u burn their eyes that will stop the attacker now the FD staff was wrong to push the police officer like that
It's very clear that the guest came charging while he was sitting there. Even if there were words, the guest came at the employee with intentions to fight and do harm. The employee acted in self-defense and quick reaction.

Please notice the employee is not holding the man any longer when police pushing the hotel employee. What police said is not true that the hotel employee refused to let the man go. The man is on the floor and the hotel employee is up. The office is just mad because a white man was bit.

The guest pushed down a barrier and went behind the desk. If you defend the guest you are subconsciously coming out of the closet as a racist, and I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt when it comes to that claim.
