He was an amazing Australian. If nothing else, there could be no better place in the world to spend your final moments than the island of Koh Samui Thailand. Thanks for your amazing journey Mr Warne.
The black dog seen after the footage of The Shack was named Tato. There’s a webcam that shares that corner with The Bay Ink Tattoo, The Shack and the clothing shop. The dog Tato is a frequent sight. I think the webcams go by the name The Real Samui or something like that.
Last time I went to the Fisherman village in late 2020 it was like a zombie apocalypse! Everything was closed and dark. Only few shops and restaurants open.

Booked in the Waterfront this morning, they also pick you up at the airport free of charge which is a nice touch. The owner saw your video yesterday and was very pleased, especially as I said I booked after watching it. Very pleased with the room and facilities 👍🏻
Stayed in this village for 2 consecutive years 2 months each year. But because of covid we can't travel .

You made a video of Eden Bungalows would you recommend these as we are looking for accommodation in fisherman’s village there are 3 of us in our mid to late 40’s and did you prefer the standard room? If you are in thailand what is the requirements to visit koh samui via ferry and taxi ?
If you pop over to Koh Phangan , I’d recommend to drop into a restaurant in Thong Sala called Auntys, run by a lovely lady who serves and cooks amazing food .

It's so good to see Samui doing well, although I fear that now they've scrapped Test & Go it may be another time of loss of business for the island, I sincerely hope not. Can't wait to get out there and sit beachside at CocoTams or anywhere in fact on the island. Would have been interested to see how Chaweng is fairing at the moment.

I am planning to use the Samui sandbox scheme and come in February. Will be my first time in Koh Samui. Please advise which beach area to stay. Unfortunately, I have to use hotels that offer sandbox package and will be more expensive.
