Just spent 3 weeks here travelling and seeing the in laws. Canât wait to head home to Europe. I forgot how useless thai people are with customer service and damn slow they are at doing everything. We went the length of the country – BKK has become triple congested and sitting in traffic is now even worse than before. The place has become far more expensive than ever. They are petrified of covid and everyone is wearing masks even 30 feet away from each other. Madness. Looking forward to getting back to clean Europe where the sidewalks are normal and you can actually walk on them without breaking your neck, where people donât drive across you in traffic because they donât give two f&âŽks and where people actually know how to do their jobs in shopping centre stores when you go into enquire about a product. Thailand is a country where the white man arrived with money and the natives didnât get the memo on how to actually run a country properly. You guys think the new rules apply to me if I arrive at the end of April in Thailand but already applied and received my Thailand pass in march?
By dropping the pcr before flying requirement, the chance of sitting next to someone who is positive has gone up a lot, and with that the chance you will be isolated in Thailand. So not a smart move in my opinion. Leaving on the 4th to Thailand but keeping my fingers crossed.
