Small room, no balcony.
I prefer View Talay 6 Condo … really good location = 30 m of the Sea and Beach Road, big balcony, huge pool, very good fitness, a few massage parlours, restaurant in the building, shop in the building , laundry service in the building, 30 m from Central Festival and amazing view on the sea.

LK Metropole is better with balcony and it's also on the Top of Soi Diana and is next to Soi Bukaow and LK Metro
Any chance you could check the studio with balcony rooms at the lk metropole? i'm booked in there for 2nd half of May 🙂 I stayed in the lk residance last trip but i know its a building site next door now.
suggestion for the new players..take all of that that shit out of the fridge fill it with what you want replace it before you leave,, sssooo easy..

i stayed at this hotel my recent trip, and i was impressed by it…and i also stayed on the 4th floor as well, except my room had a balcony…the location was absolutely fantastic as i am a big fan of lk metro and soi buakhao area and i was literally right there…recently became a fan of craft cottage restaurant as well as i checked it out…the swimming pool is not big, however, you can use the other pool of centra azure adjacent to it using the back alley…good review of the hotel…i recommend it for anyone looking for a good hotel in a great location
AUD$65 for a balcony, pool, gym and sauna with a short walk to entertainment?
Where I stay in Broadbeach Queensland it's closer to AUD$250 a night.
I see people in these videos constantly whining about prices for fairly luxurious accommodation that would get you something slightly better than a room in a 'roach motel' anywhere in the west.

I was staying in areca lodge in 2012 when this was being built! every morning i woke up to the pounding noise of the foundations being laid. not sure about staying there as ut has mixed views on agoda. View talay 6 condo is the place for me

ive always stayed At Flipper lodge
its been refurbished of late its spot on and if u book online in advance can get for around 1000bht a night
its just about far enough to stagger home from Walking street
at 4am in the morning
a great breakfast with lots of Bacon if your up before 10am
A big Plus its surrounded by nice little bars and lots of nice Issan

I've walked past the entrance to that condo many a time, always wondered what it is like inside. Now I know, thanks for sharing. I prefer the condos facing Soi 15, same style but with lounge, kitchen and balcony.
Wine cooler ?, instead of a fridge , big mistake in that heat imo .
You can learn a lot from these videos. First that is my favourite area to stay so was excited, 2nd looks very nice, 3rd room size much to small, safe was bigger, 4th was price, 1800 baht on Hotels.com in April, 5th discard it completely and let you know how I feel.

Nice review, Steff. Things like the daft fridge, no balcony, lack of outdoor space and a small pool would start to annoy me after a few days. If it was super cheap I'd give it a try, otherwise I'd go next door to Areca Lodge.
Nice place, but like alot have said……fridge is a huge problem. In Canada around the western provinces, the hotels are starting to put in full size fridges in all the units.

Hi Steff, right now I'm looking for an alternative to Sihanoukville, the Chinese destroyed it. Kampot, Battambang, Siem Reap and Koh Kong I found some videos but it's not comparable to Sihanoukville as it was 10-20 years ago in terms of nightlife. Pattaya gets too expensive with time. The exchange rate is getting worse. Myanmar would be interesting, about Myanmar and nightlife hardly a video is made. Maybe there will be a place in Myanmar that is similar to Pattaya and Sihanoukville like 20 years ago.

Hi steff, stayed there a few years ago when its Just opened. it was at the time soi diana was flooded and could not leave the hotel one night due to this..for a third of the price i rather stay at d apartment 🙂

A cheap guesthouse can be transformed by buying some decent bedding, with a large room, large working fridge, decent shower pressure, if you’re our in Pattaya you are not there for Gyms or Really Pool works

Nice modern place but I stay always at the opeydeplace soi lengkee it's a bit old but has pool, balcony, and a giant fridge which I love
Good review as usual Steff bit on the pricey side but 10 out of 10 for location
i dont like these too fancy modern looking rooms. i am happy with a bit more space rundown furniture and a nice balcony.
It always bums me out when there is a fridge you can't really use :-/
