Coming from a kitchen – the sewer stuff has nothing to do with lower employees and everything to do with the chef and goddamn management. If no one cares, the employees won’t – language barrier or not.

Lots of Asian restaurants around the world wants to save a penny by cutting corners. I once work for a Chinese restaurant when I was in high school, they would train me to be a cook and if I drop the meat on the ground, they would just tell me to pick it up and prep it. All the staff and chef cooks their own food or bring their food from home. They don’t eat the restaurant menu because they know the produce to meat are not sanitize….that’s the truth.
