I've been ill and tried working one day only just emparrassed myself. My task was to fill all the shampoo, conditioner, shower gels, and it took me forever. I of course was yelled at for it. I sometimes think, I am not meant for hotel housekeeping.

I'm always the last one to bring my cart into the laundry room where we store the housekeeping carts. Everyday im always making a strategy plan to knock out rooms. Planning a " Game Plan " is a daily change considering each day has its new situation. Im sure I " over dust " compared to my co workers. What is your daily routine? We also have to strip our own beds, than make them. Stay Overs are always mixed in with our Due Outs on out board. Ive been a housekeeper for a year, and I still get exhausted with beds. Please give me any advice. I admit, my motivation doesn't kick in till 11 am. Lol. My co workers are on it, skip breakfast, and our out earlier than me.

I did housekeeping in a hotel for about a week and quit it was very particular. Housekeeping in the hospital is a living hell. Cleaning offices is much better if you want to get into cleaning.

Wow! You are such a talented speaker! You kept me glued and attentive with your extraordinary story and communicative abillities being so informative and so emotionally engaging, if that make sense. You should do more talks on YT or even consider doing a TED talk. You'd make a great educator, speaker, or content creator. You also know how to encourage and make people feel good, too. So, you would also make a great manager or training coordinator. Wishing you well!

i used to do all sorts of housekeeping – residential, hotel, and for a retirement home. while the retirement home was the grossest, the hotel was definitely the hardest. sometimes i miss housekeeping in general but this video reminded me of how hard it is. i freaking HATED making the beds and tucking the pillows! and the beds used to be so gross–i would see pools of period blood, sweat, hair dye that rubbed off onto the pillows, crumbs and spilled beverages, piss, dirty underwear, CONDOMS,,,, it really wouldn't be so bad if there were no beds.what i do like is that you're always moving and doing something and you get to go home early if you finish early.
