I have to say you are not the only one who slips on stairs in Thailand I was in pattaya and doing a little partying near walking street and slid down a flight of stairs never have I seen so many people concerned about how I was ! I was fine for once the drinking kept me loose but I will never wear hard sole dress shoes around in pattaya or anywhere else when I am out on the town and possibly drinking.. stay safe……

Step up step down hmmmm reminds me of Manila and the city area. Wow your own personal Troll LOL. Nice room you got and I like how you give the prices of things so people get an idea how much it would cost to travel there. Awesome waterfall there and the food looked awesome.

The GPS most car manufacturers fit is way below par. My Mazda 2 always has me about 3km from where I actually am. On my last car I installed a Joying Android head unit. Shared my internet to it (although I believe AIS will give you 2 SIM cards on the same account, which the head unit will accept) you then have essentially an android tablet in the car. Way cheaper and much more functional that a manufacturer unit. Hope you have a great time touring.

I stay at that hotel/motel at 12.37 in the video on the left,.blue colour called sea view hotel,.its around the 600 baht mark with breakfast, although its only coffie and toast,.nice pool there and you can walk across the road to the beach,.also there is a restaraunt that brings food over to the beach also, just a few yards away,..mind you that hotel you 2 stayed at looked good and for around the same price, also the sea food place looked nice,..i agree about the beach in Rayong, its ok but not the most inviting,.you should have dived into that pizza company place and had a snitzell , love them and only about 500 baht for 2 people so its pretty reasonable,.nice and quiete round there,.except for the road trip part,.. BKK you got to love it [NOT]…….i,m looking forward to the koh chang part,.its one of my favorite places,.been once must get there again soon,..cheers C&P,..thanks for your videos,.

Great as always, Chuck. I am over in Thailand again at the moment and like you, I was stuck on the same road south of Bangkok on Friday… if I had seen you, I would have given you and Paige a wave. Keep on having fun, mate. 🙂

  10. John S says:

Interesting that you commented on not liking the beaches in Rayong. We made it to Pattaya, but I wasn't impressed with the beaches there either or the beaches near Chumphon. Best beaches were definitely in the Phuket area. It all looks familiar though and we took many of the same highways. PTTs are GOOD. Traffic really sucks though.
