I love Renaissance hotels I've stayed in a couple of them in the States and the rate you got was not bad…I paid more that that in Baltimore Maryland. Your paying half as much.

Have noticed how Thailand is becoming very expensive just looking at the menu prices,10 years ago we paid 30 baht for street food!everyone used to say go to Thailand your money goes a long way I’m afraid not any more,was yearning to return this winter but are having second thoughts.anyway has we say in England‘it’s nice to see how the other half lives’

One tip, always ask kindly for a late check out, seeing as this is a super no season, l am sure a 4 pm checkout wouldn't be noticed seeing as you spent so much of your own time viewing their resort at your expense

Wow Loucous. All that for $115 US. We just stayed in Modesto Ca. (the armpit of California!) for $127 a night and it looked exactly nothing like the Renaissance! Also eye-opening, was your shirt. That…is a nice shirt. Where can I get one and at what price? Thanks for another great episode.

Hotel room fridges down at ground level would have to be my single biggest gripe with hotels. Why not put them at table level FFS 555. My old farang body doesn’t bend like It used to….

Thailand has become quite expensive. Meanwhile, you can vacation much cheaper in Europe and you don't have to fly 12 hours and you don't need a visa within the EU.
In the future, nothing pulls me to Thailand and the sex is now also cheaper in Europe.

I am really surprised they can keep hotels open after they locked the interprovincial travels. How they regulate when the visitors travel back to other provinces from a visit of a hotel in Pattaya?

I’m a platinum elite with Marriott stayed at several Renaissance and in fact took the housecoat they provide from the one in Shanghai! Also if you want feather free they’ll make the room and the bedding that way. Generally I always get a welcome gift free breakfast and they have a concierge lounge with free drinks food in the evening and breakfast in the morning. So generally I don’t eat in though restaurant downstairs all of its comped!
