This is my second day in Chiang Mai.
No joke, when I got on the plane to leave, I was already imagining the next time I could get on a plane to come back and get this roast chicken. I know it is hard to believe that roast chicken could be so yummy, but sometimes there is beauty in simplicity.
Chiang Mai was a great experience as I also enjoyed the rest of my day, diving into flavors and dishes which I have never had the opportunity to try before. It was a great opportunity and I ready to keep going and keep learning.

I don’t know how you can eat that much thai chili 🌶. Your metabolism must be used to it. I like chili 🌶 but that much will just make me stomach aches and stay in the restrooms for 1-2 days. Haha! Kudos! Can’t wait for covid-19 to be over to travel again!

Based on my knowledge the northern Thai food shares the common heritage with the Shan, not Burmese.
On Nimman area, that grilled chicken eatery is good but surprisingly unpopular among locals, but because tourists love it so it's quite famous. Actually that small take-away shops on the footpath that you shot after leaving that eatery is quite popular among the locals.
