I had to have a friend sign up for the Japanese Disney account. My Disney account from the states didn't work and I could not get the Tokyo Disney account without a Japanese account. Getting the app was the easy part. Once I cleared all the hurdles, it was well worth the work!
Finally…no more dashing through the hot summer to the fast pass booth.
Hi Chris! I just discovered your channel so I’m a new subscriber ☺️ I live in the US, but I’m so intrigued by Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo Disney Sea, and Japan in general. I’ve been buying so much TDR merch on eBay it’s crazy lol. Your merch videos have really had an impact on my wallet 😂 I have to say though that the sellers from Japan have been so nice and accommodating…I’m ordering everything from Japanese sellers now! Hi Chris! Thanks for all you do. Keeps me wanting to come back to TDR every time I’m in Tokyo. Could you also explain the show lottery process on the app? I can read Japanese, but I think it would be a lot harder to get through that than FPs on the app for those who can’t.
Also, I made a HUGE mistake in FP strategy by getting one for Soaring the moment I walked in. I should’ve made one for ToT, which was available immediately and reserved Soaring right after. Instead, I waited 2 hours stand by. 😖 So could you also give some tips/info on how FP strategy is affected now with the app & Soaring? Thanks!
Hey Chris, with so many people coming to Tokyo this summer, are there any indications they will release versions for other countries?
Would this affect the normal FP system though? As in, if everyone grabs all the FPs online, people who do it through the machine will start to miss out?

Thanks for the video. Would have been nice to point out where it tells you when you are able to pick you next FastPass (I could not see that in any of the screens shown). Also, if you are in DisneySea, can you select FastPasses for Disneyland (assuming you have a park hopper ticket), or can you only select FastPasses for the park you are in? Thanks!

ummm Chris can you download the FastPass app through the Qooapp? i use that app to download gaming apps from Japan but i havent tried it out with a non gaming app

Hi Chris! Thanks for the video! 🙂 When I click the FP icon it tells me to sign-in with my Tokyo Disney account. But, my account as registered as me being a foreigner to Japan and will therefore not let me sign in. Is there a way to go around it or will I end up needing to make a fake account where I would be a resident of Japan?
