Thanks for the great review of Tony Packo’s! When my family visits, we always go to Packo’s. My Mom especially loved Cpl. Klinger on MASH and enjoyed visiting the original restaurant where you went. Great food, great people, a Toledo institution! Glad you enjoyed it.

You're in a hungarian base restaurant and you didn't try cabbage rolls. ???
Of course, we're cruising around Pigeon Forge looking for the "yeller jeep" and you guys end up in my town. I used to work at Packos, skyline is sweet soup in comparison. Most of the signed buns are plastic or Styrofoam and made just for signing purposes.
I love packos I go on tues for the $2 dogs

Love the O.G packos on the East Side. Live in Rossford about ten minutes away. Eat there all the time. 🤙
Toledo born and bred… Packo's is to die for. Always a go-to. The dogs and pickles are worth the trip.

The back of the menu has the whole story of the location and how it started and the history of the significance of the Buns.
There is so much more to the Buns in the other room and memorabilia from MASH TV show and about Jamie Farr since he is from Toledo, Ohio.
The Kitchen is also across from the restaurant is where the food is actually made at.
Due to lack of service it depends if you are treated with a full dining staff or just get your meal like as a Cafe food line.
There also used to be a band that plays there on the weekends with Jazz music and a magician going table to table to entertain you as well occasionally.
The store gets orders from around the world for their produce there.
It is not a Hotdog you are eating ,it is a Hungarian Sausage and they split them.

I don’t know how long you’ll be in that area, but you should stop in Bowling Green and do a vlog at Pollyeyes. They’re famous for their stuffed breadsticks, and I think every college student from BG loves them.
