Having lived in Thailand for many many years (and never been attracted to the gogo scene very much but have had to attend them as a 'right of passage' so to speak in the past) I am constantly rendered in awe of the great musicians. There are some of the best musicians in the world, many are Thais but a lot more often they travel from South Americas and even more from Philippines. Just astounding imitation/cover artists who regardless of whether you like the actual song or not are undeniable brilliant mimics. Nice Thai girls dont go to these places, (not knocking hookers if that is your thing, but that is all you will find at these venues) there are heaps better places to go to meet Thai girls and pick up girls who are not prostitutes in Thailand.

My personal favourite is the Pattaya Beer Garden. A few years ago, I would have said The Blues Factory which was another regular venue for Lam Morrison + Mary and the Blues Machine, but it has gone seriously downhill since.

Shooters sport bar at the end of soi 7 (agogo meets beer bar, electronic music and a bit more "lively" than normal bars).
Amethyst agogo/show at LK Metro (agogo with a lot of crazy shows, if your bored of the typical agogo club, u should check this place out).
Skyfall agogo in Walking St. (expensive as most other agogos in Walking St. But I would say that this club got the overall sexiest girls. The place is almost packed with 10's. Worth the trip, even to just watch the girls for a bit).
Happy Agogo, end of soi Happy in Walking St. (Good looking girls, dark venue with very good customer service. The place can feel a bit packed at times, but if your able to get a seat on the "outer circle" it should be fine. They also have some ping pong games which can be fun to watch).
