What do you think of these modern style Adirondack chairs? We love the way they turned out. They add such a nice touch to our fire pit area. What kind of seating do you use around your fire pit or outdoor gathering areas? We would love to know!
Thanks. Explanation was very clear. This is very helpful for beginners like me.
Works as it's suppose to
good evening excellent video what kind of paint is oil or water thanks
Hello, could you tell me the measurements of all the cuts?
Kh7 needs a better commercial. I'd rather use the dollar store shit.
Great video like the ideas a lot. Do you have list of how many lumber and what lumber you use in this video to complete a chair?
Awesome tutorial thanks y’all!
is anyone else bothered by the spot on the support that has no stain on it? you can see it at the end under the chair.
🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ safety goggles and ear protection…… and bare feet. 🤣 I cant with you..
you may wanna wear some shoes next time you make some cuts on that circular saw. Disasters don't discriminate based on experience.
This is a great design but I'm sorry. I cant go with stained pine. It just wont hold up. Right in the area where you will connect with screws , debris will get in there and that joint will NOT stay dry. I have trusted and been burned so many times with untreated in the elements. They won't last 4 years. But if your area has a roof over it then thats better but …..

Condition the wood before staining
What type of wood did you use?
Great chairs!
If you clamp your speed square to the board you can use it as a guide for the saw.
Nice work guys👍
13:13 Am I the only one who felt that the stain is missing in the second chair(under the seating) 🤔
I nice work. I build these for sale on FB. One tip…I always predrill, especially seat and back slats. Takes a little bit more time but prevents splitting.
Can't wait to make me some. Great job
Great video. Good detail. Helped me get the angled cuts on the feet just right. Just built two of these and honestly I highly recommend weatherproofing them before assembly (if you get untreated wood). The angles and crannies you have to get to once assembled is not incredibly simple. Also, pay VERY close attention to what he is saying and doing at the 7:15 ish mark. It's a crucial tip!
You have to be more carful!
The way you work with the skil saw is just wrong from the safety side. You are a few more cuts from a kickback, right into your bare foot legs.
Be carful, and wear protection!
Really great walkthrough.
How have these held up? I’m considering building some but wondering if 2×6 would be a better option
Doing it again, would you stain before assembly?
Man what a great information. You should be a teacher, plus video is great not only tells you what to do but demonstrate it.
That Is looking like an Ana White chair to spec?
0mg!! thank you for showing the cuts with the speed square I love Ana but she shows everything so fast that I couldn't get the angles right
Dude, wear shoes when working with tools, toes come in 10 packs only – not in single replacement packs.
Take your shoes off when you rest in your smartly made deck chairs !
@13:13 you forgot to stain the bottom piece of the chair.
Ah, you missed something.
Why not use the pocket screws to attach the top of the arms, instead of doing screws through the top?
I made a pair of these from your plans on line. Easy to build and very sturdy. I used treated lumber so the chairs would match my new deck. I bought 8 2x4x8 and 5 5/4x6x8 deck boards. Thanks for the plan they turned out great.
