lol, I guess I should have warned you. yes, you go there for the experience, not the food and service, although your seemed to have hit an especially busy time … I was there two weeks ago and while it was busy I didn't have to wait for a seat as you did.
BTW, I was given my YouTube name on my trip back here in April. I happened to be sitting beside this little Thai guy and a big Black guy traveling together. they were both speaking Thai and with my limited Thai skills I wear able to make out they were talking about Chiang Mai, so I asked if they were on their way to Chiang Mai, as I was (after I served or my 10 days quarantine.)
turned out I was sitting beside Clifton Brown (former world champion Mauy Thai fighter from Canada, and his coach Ajahn Suchart Yodkerepauprai.)
Clifton is the nicest person you'd want to meet and Ajahn is the most interesting character you're even going to meet. he was drinking whisky out of a paper bag when the flight first got under way, but they caught him and took the bottle away … 10 minutes later he pulled another bottle in a paper bag and started drinking again … they caught him again and took the bottle away … this time they said you better not have another bottle hidden in your carry-on, to which he swore he did not … 10 minutes later he pulled out a can he somehow rigged up to be refillable, which of course was full of whiskey.
anyway, the trip with him and Clifton was hilarious, during the extended layover in Doha Ajahan, 62, told me he could do 100 push-ups … he somehow decided that I didn't believe him so in the middle of the Doha airport he felt he needed to prove to me he could do 100 push-ups, dropped down to the floor and started doing pushups while counting very loudly, so loudly airport security came over and told him he could do push-ups of he wanted but would have to count quietly lol. anyway, he completed his 100 push-ups then did 100 Syria right after just for good measure!!??
anyway, when we were talking about Chiang Mai turns out Ajahan is from Chiang Mai and when I told him I was living in Hang Dong, he gave me the Nick name 'Hung Dong Boy' … so that's why I have that name 🙂

I’m a seafood person, when I see food I eat it ! Nice restaurant but seems a little fishy to me…another lovely gem in CM’s crown, happy that you’re so blessed..anyway, you’ll get a cup or two of coffee when I get there, hope you like Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts lol…the highway you were on looks like a ring road..thx for the vid 🙏🏻👍🏻✌🏻🕊
