I always get brand new, crisp, unwritten on Ben Franklins from my bank before I go to Thailand. On my last trip in 2019 my best friend from the UK brought over some messy written on GBP notes and they wouldn't accept them he was mad as hell!
I have a feeling the staff at this restaurant eat a lot of uneaten burgers 😂
More importantly never bring any currency that has ink on it as it will not be accepted.
Should never bring currency with you…. I learned the hard way and got drugged and robbed…… and if you do bring cash with you keep as secret as you can, trust me
