   Backpacking in Japan and South Korea for 21 days Part VII: Hirosaki It’s a sunny day. But along the way was white snow everywhere. And it’s so cold outdoors. It made our noses wet when we were outdoors. The officers at Hirosaki Station did not know English. So we could get no information about inBackpacking in Japan and South Korea for 21 days Part VII: Hirosakiteresting places to visit. However; we were lucky to see a young friendly man. He accompanied us to the bus stop outside the train station. And pointed to the bus number to Hirosaki Castle. It’s number 100. Hirosaki Castle was at the 14th stop. It’s the bus to the City Center that led to Hirosaki Park. Then a man came where we were standing and talking with the young man. He told that the fare was 100 yens per person. And he was waiting for the same bus. He suggested I change by shoes because it was so cold. Before he got off, he told the driver to drop us at the castle stop, too. We saw no snow on Hirosaki city roads. They’re dry and clean. We thought the snow had already gone. But after the city zone, appeared piles of snow beside all roads. On every house roof, low hills and plains were white with snow. The bus dropped us at the 14th stop. We walked towards the taxi parking lot. Then turned left to the sign “Otame Entrance Gate.” A young couple came out of the arch in front. It roof was in the shape of the castle roof. It’s not the time for sakura. They looked dry and dead because there’re just the trees with their branches and limbs. The bridge across the moat was red. The water in the moat was icy on the surface. It’s like a glacier. But there’re no rocks and the water did not flow. So it did not look clean. We walked on the roads with a lot of slush to the main castle. It’s too cold for me, I think. All the castles were in the same style. The main castle was on the high hill. The road up to the hill had stone wall on both sides. It’s a curved road. The sun was going down to the horizon behind the castle. It’s such a beautiful view. After exploring around, we left the park for the bus stop. The time at the stop said the last bus was at 17.32. We had more than half an hour to wait. But it’s really quiet and there’re no buses any more. At 17.40 we decided to leave the stop for the taxi park. We took a meter-taxi. It started with 660 yens. The next km was +90+90+90. The total was 930 yens; about 300 Thai baht. It’s 100 baht a km. While the bus fare was only about 32 baht a person. We asked for tickets to Zendai. And got the 19.44 train. It reached Zendai at 21.29. We waited from 18.00-19.10. On the monitor were only Local trains. There’re some passengers in and out. We’re doubtful about our train. So I went to the booking office to ask an officer. Fortunately, a young woman officer knew a bit English. She told us there’s no train at the time in the tickets. I had to ask for other train tickets. I did not understand while the officer could not tell in English. She talked to a senior officer. He took the tickets from me. I asked whether I had to follow him. She said no. When the senior officer came back, the woman officer told me the train would certainly leave only from Shin Aomori Station

   ลุงกับป้าแบ็คแพ็ครอบโลก ตะลุยหิมะญี่ปุ่น นั่งรถไฟ 15 วัน จากเหนือสุดถึงใต้สุด

   ตอนที่ 7 สวนซากุระ 5,000 ต้น ธารน้ำแข็ง และปราสาท Hirosaki

   ระหว่างที่รอรถไฟออกจากสถานี Aomori ไปซื้อพายแอ๊ปเปิ้ลมานั่งกิน อันไม่ใหญ่ อันละ 210 เยน ประมาณ 67 บาท ถ้าเป็นบ้านเราก็ไม่น่าจะเกิน 15 บาท รถออก 15.31-16.16 น. ใช้เวลาเดินทางแค่ 45 นาที ก็ถึงแล้ว รถจอดทุกสถานี มีคนขึ้น-ลง ทุกสถานี หิมะขาวโพลนตลอดสองข้างทาง ทั้งๆ ที่ ตั้งแต่เช้าถึงบ่ายมีแดดตลอด แต่เมื่อออกจากรถหรืออาคารก็ยังคงหนาวจนจมูกชื้น รถเข้าสถานีตามเวลา จนท.ที่สถานีนี้ไม่สามารถใช้ภาษาอังกฤษในการสื่อสารได้เลย บังเอิญเจอหนุ่มน้อยนั่งรอรถ จึงถามวิธีการเดินทางไป Hirosaki Castle เขาเดินไปส่งที่ป้ายรถประจำทางมีเลข 100 นำหน้า เขาชี้ป้ายที่14 City Center เป็น Hirosaki Park

   มีผู้ชายคนหนึ่งมารอรถพร้อมกันเขาบอกว่า ค่ารถคนละ 100 เขาก็ไปทางเดียวกัน และบอกว่า ป้าควรจะเปลี่ยนรองเท้าเพราะมันลื่นและหนาวมาก ตอนเขาลงรถเขาบอกคนขับให้ส่งเราที่ป้ายด้วย ถนนในเมืองฮิโรซากิ แห้งสนิทไร้ร่องรอยหิมะ จนคิดว่าเมืองนี้หิมะไม่ตก แต่ไม่จริงเพราะพอรถออกนอกเมืองก็ปรากฏหิมะกองเป็นภูเขาอยู่ข้างถนน บนหลังคาบ้าน และตามเนินดินหรือที่ราบ

   รถจอดส่งที่ป้าย 14 เดินตรงไปที่ลานจอดรถแท็กซี่ เลี้ยวเข้าตรงป้ายบอกว่า Otame Entrance Gate มีหนุ่มสาวคู่หนึ่งเดินออกมาจากซุ้มประตู ที่มีหลังคาเหมือนกับหลังคาปราสาท

   ตอนนี้หมดเวลาซากุระ 5,000 ต้นบานแล้ว มีแต่ต้นกับกิ่งที่ดูแห้งแล้ง มองไปที่สะพานแดงที่จะข้ามไป เห็นน้ำในลำธารมีหิมะลอยเหนือน้ำ คล้ายธารน้ำแข็ง แต่ไม่มีหิน น้ำไม่ไหล ผิวหน้าลำธารเป็นน้ำแข็งเต็มพื้นที่ เราต้องเดินบนถนนที่เขาขูดหิมะออกไม่หมด ไปจนถึงปราสาทหลังที่ปรากฏในรูป

   มีปราสาทแบบเดียวกันหลายหลัง แต่หลังที่อยู่ในรูปตั้งอยู่บนที่สูง มีหินเป็นผนังข้างแนวโค้งของถนนที่เลี้ยวขึ้นสู่ตัวปราสาท พระอาทิตย์กำลังจะลับขอบฟ้าด้านหลังของปราสาทพอดี ทำให้เห็นฉากสวยงามยามเย็น

   ขากลับ ออกไปที่ป้ายรถเมล์ 17.20 น. มีเวลาบอกว่ารถมา 17.32 น. เป็นเที่ยวสุดท้าย ยืนรอรถจนถึง 18.00 น. ไม่มีรถเมล์มา ต้องเดินกลับไปที่ลานจอดแท็กซี่ เป็นแท็กซี่มิเตอร์ กดครั้งแรกขึ้นน 660 กม.ถัดไป +90+90+90 รวม 930 เยน คิดเป็นเงินไทย 300 บาท ตกกม.ละ 100 บาท ขามาค่ารถเมล์ 32 บาท

   ถึงสถานี Hirisaki ขอตั๋วรถไฟไปเซนได รถจะออก 19.44 น. ถึงเซนไดเวลา 21.29 น.
