Outstanding. I’m in Canada, near Vancouver. My girlfriend from Guangzhou gonna come soon here to study culinary arts.
Strange…not handling caviar with metal spoons but eating it with metal spoons 🤔
The camera man sounds so cute and is so polite!
I was very interested to witness a day in the life of a great chef, but the video seems to only show his female assistant
Amazing video
I promise you he cut out all the cursing and ball busting.
Love what looks like fresh raw fish. And love tuna!
Essence of cooking 13:19❤️❤️❤️
chef doug is so cute
If anyone has a japanese or korean family has one member that feeds as much their guests as Doug or Jane please hit me up
it's wonderful how everyone work together and vive such beautiful pieces of food, it looks so fancy and delicious but there's q lot of work behind it!! and makes it waaay special
So calm and collected while getting delivered more and more work is so intersting to see love it
They're right about working in the kitchen being like a dance, or an orchestra. But it is also hellish work, and it's not such a friendly or casual space to work in.
" For me? Thank you! 😊"
I think these "Day in the life of" videos would be so much better if you followed them from when they wake up until they go to sleep. It's just that much more interesting when we get to see how their lives are not only at work but at home – makes it much more personable. You can check Paolo FromJapan channel, his day in the life series is amazing. Thanks and keep the content coming!
cool
Jane is a great leader. The staff is fantastic.
Taking that initial risk and becoming successful using those unique and expensive ingredients is a beautiful thing to see. Mind boggling. Capitalism is a good thing. Wow. Great video.

Hats off to the whole team of this restaurant! BRAVO!
What a wholesome kitchen
I strive to be as good at my job as this fine woman. I relocated my fam to better our situation and I have been blessed to be among Chefs that are straight forward and actually want you to succeed.
If you have a solid work ethic and love cooking (as your job), but are stuck in a town/city/state/province with no culture scene, please leave if you want better pay and better knowledge.
Stache when you can. Meet other chefs, but most importantly, DONT SELL YOURSELF SHORT
That's 13 hours at work, just too much, f..ng capitalism! No private life. I admire you.
I'm glad you made this mini documentary because I'm going to college for culinary and this just made me get a better perspective
we love douhg

Hats off to Jane. The way she handled things and had control over her turf…. just amazing. The team they have in the kitchen is 10/10. They deserve this star!
You always seem to find the sweetest people working in restaurants, i wanna go to all of these restaurants for the people more than the food at this stage
