Hey Marc, thanks for the input. Indeed it had the stock tires.. I notice that Versys owners request other tires from the get go. The bikes i use are rental bikes from Chiang Mai but i am ordering my own Versys real soon. Bridgestone or Michelin will replace the dunlops. You are spot on about mounting the camera lower and on the side. I was afraid of vibrations but the gopro software smoothens it out well. All the best.

Is your Versys wearing the stock Dunlop tires? The stock Dunlops are CRAP in my humble opinion… I had Kawasaki change them to the Bridgestone Battlax BT021 prior to delivery of the new bike.
I think the wind noise is due to the location of your camera at the top of your helmet… Try mounting it on the side and you'll get much less wind noise.
