As you say, I think meat on the bone is a sign of authenticity as South Asians like the juicyness on the bone. We bizarrely had a nice Indian meal on the top floor of the Indian Emporium mall on Chakkaraphet in Chinatown. Kind of basic but tasty fast food (basic chicken curry on the bone) and patchy service but lots of South Asians there so it must be OK. The food court was a little sparse for shops but I'd definately be interested to see your thoughts on that place.

Here's another Indian restaurant you could try the name is "Indian Food 17", it has 2 branches on Charoennakorn 17 and another on Soi Suanplu 8. This place has Indian chef and Its price is reasonable too, around 120 THB for Chicken Tikka Masala, most Thai reviews recommend this place for those who want to try indian food for the first time.
You passed by my favourite restaurant Margarita at Sukhumvit. Its 24/7 and has great burger

Looked really good… even with the bones. I actually went for some Indian food today —but it was closed for the holidays so had to settle for second-rate Chinese… 🙁
I hope you complained about the all bones in your chicken curry to the staff. Albeit in a polite manner of course.
once again a great review, as you know I often leave comments and feel really strong about this review particularly as I'm South African Indian, the "Bone in" concept is really Indian, just be lucky it was chicken and not Mutton (555) as you would have really lost a tooth then. the food looks good but to me is still a bit "Plasticky"
For 20 Baht the rice should have been Indian long grain (Basmati or Bhimri) not Thai white rice (its definately NOT Jasmin Hom Malee Rice). If you want good Indian/Thai Food please go to Paurat, everything along Sukhumwit is way too Touristy or too expensive

I did find it a little hard to eat because of the bones. It is like when you find a piece of eggshell in your food. You become very cautious with every bite because another shell could be encountered.
