Note that when you take the Shinkansen with your JR Pass, you cannot use "NOZOMI" and "MIZUHO".
(NOZOMI is the fastest and most frequent train)
When you use your JR Pass on the Shinkansen, please take the "HIKARI".
You can also take "KODAMA", but it takes much longer because it stops at every stations.
Ex. Tokyo-Kyoto
NOZOMI：2h20min, HIKARI：2h40min, KODAMA：3h40min.

At the end of your great video you pulled out your smart phone. Is that an American phone? I have heard that American phones do not work in Japan. But that was 5-6 years ago on my last visit. I have a one year old apple now. New technology for both countries. The Japan government demands a foreign travelers have smart phone so they can keep track of us because of covid.

Including a few short trips to Mt Fuji, Hiroshima etc. Would a 21 day JR pass be worth it even though we probably won’t be using it much within the 7days in each city? Also use "Hyperdia" for train tables in Japan. They even give you information about the track a train leaves.

Btw guys, do not use Klook, their refund process is extremely difficult, you have to post the tickets to their office in China, and that’s not it. They gave you an address which their local Chinese courier is not able to locate when they tried delivering it. Then we asked if Klook can contact the local courier company. You never hear back from them, and when you chase it up: apparently, Klook put a note on the system to say that the parcel (tickets) was being held in customs. How and what did the courier company tried delivery? Or Klook simply does not want to refund?

I would like to know if the JR pass besides being used on shinkansens can be used on regular trains to travel within Tokyo with the JR line, for example from shinjuku to shibuya?

So for example, if I wanted to travel back a forth between Tokyo and Kyoto let's say going from Tokyo to Kyoto, and then Kyoto to tokyo, and again Tokyo to Kyoto for any reason I can just travel as much as I want (as long as its in my days of availability right?

with the JR pass it really depends on the traveller. the JR pass is worth it for those who use at least 2 or more shinkansens. We recently went to Japan recently. but didn't travel around to many cities Only went to Tokyo and Osaka. so only took one shinkansen trip, in our case the JR pass wasn't really worth getting.
one thing you forgot to mention in your video is the JR pass will not cover Tokyo Metro Subway lines. or anything non JR.
