Hi There, just wanted to mention that i loved chipotle too until i got food poisoning there once and have never been back. Another thing, I’m sure you do, but some ppl may not know… in the vid I saw beans coming straight from the bag into the pot to cook. They are very very dirty with literal dirt so should be washed thoroughly and check for rocks too!! I’ve found many little pebbles in my beans. It even says so on the bag. No dentist trips 🙁

Fun fact, chipotles beans dont come from a can, they come from a bag and are heated in a pot. They probably taste over cooked or "weird" because they were reused or mixed beans.
My g, you got the wrong meat, wrong beans and wrong rice in my opinion. Double steak with brown rice and double of the other beans is bussing than some hot salsa and your set

What cheese did you use? I can’t recognize the cheese they use at chipotle but I like it.
The "but better" series should have a caveat to it: it needs the cost of ingredients to come in equal or cheaper than the cost of buying the meal you're comparing it to.
It's not really fair to do a "but better" against Chipotle and use Wagyu beef, for example. A bit like trying to show you can build a car faster than a Honda Accord but step 1 is to go buy a Ferrari. Well yeah, of course you can do a better job when cost is no object!
