I have been there before. Not great Mexican food, but you forget about Mexican food when you have cheap Thai food everyday.
Mikes Mexican Restaurant has a website but I don't recommend visiting it as my Anti Virus refused access to it, telling me it was infected with HTML:Script-Inf [Susp], so not safe to visit.

There is a fairly good Mexican place just across the street from Nana Plaza. Their Margarita bucket is legendary. The food? Muey bien, Hefe!
I have 4-5 favorite vloggers. For tourists and retirees. Rob among them. All have different styles and approaches. But have seen critics on other places. Just enjoy the info. And yes, the vloggers want to make some money. They love what they do, and want to share.

Rob, Since your from Southern US, suggest that the next time your in Bangkok, feel an urge for southern Creole or Cajun food, or other great American dishes, (also British, Thai) go eat breakfast, lunch or dinner at Bourbon St restaurant on Sukhumvit 63, can walk from Ekkami BTS station. Fantastic food, atmosphere. Also decent priced and nice apartments. Great bar too.

I lived in Pattaya for 2 years and you do get used to the traffic. Tequila Reef was my go to Mexican restaurant on soi 7 close to Beach Road.

I found a Mexican place on Pattaya 7 Alley which runs off beach road. Called Tequila Reef. I went to another one is Clark Philippines years ago… Loved it..
This one is at least as good but it's in a pretty busy part of Pattaya, like you say..

Found 2 good Mexican restaurants in Chiang Mai. But understand the Farang thing. Best to take a tour of the whole city, out of touristy old city. I stayed in thai areas. Enjoyed watching the Thais playing snooker. Enjoyed themselves. But I need to see Pattaya. Kev and Rob show nice things there..

I find most farang who move to Thailand move there to find a young Thai wife who takes their money or because they want to live somewhere cheaply. I a from the USA and live in Bangkok from November to April. I’ve been coming here for 8 years. Things have changed the prices have went up not much of a bargain anymore, but I’ve done well financially and can live anywhere I want. I come back to Thailand because I like the people. I cannot live here full time due to the pollution and not enough green area for my outdoor activities, kayaking, cycling, etc. Singapore and Tokyo surpass Thailand in those areas. If I could place the Thai people in Singapore, it would be perfect.
