I would add it of course has no pool. However, you can walk up and around the corner to the Pink Siam hotel on Soi Bukhao and they were charging like 60 baht to use their pool. Not the best pool but it was good for a dip. And many other hotels around will do the same thing and let you use their pool on a pay by day basis.
not a bad room for a few nights while checking out the town. Great location. If room faces the back then it will be quiet and no LK Metro noise at 1 and 2 am if you are actually going to bed that early. One thing I hate is the shower that is not separate The water will be all over the floor. That keeps the floor wet and it feels icky when later using the toilet or the sink and having to step on the wet floor. I would suggest getting some cheap towels to use to soak up the floor now and then
Dec 2019. I quit and retired from Northrop in San Diego, and thought I was going to Thailand for 6 months to chill. Instead I got a crazy contract offer for > 130/hour up in New Jersey and I worked there for all of 2020. In retrospect it was a fantastic thing because COVID showed up, things got shut down, I made a ton, my social security which I did not start increased as I waited another year, etc. Now in 2021 waiting to see what will happen
I’m getting to like the idea of staying at IRovers. I think booking directly with them and ensuring that one of the quieter rooms in the back is available might be the better way to go. Enjoying your videos. Music was different!!

Stayed at I-Rovers my last two trips, great place, great food and all for an excellent price. It can be loud with the live band at the Billabong till 2 or 3 am. You were in the smallest room, they have larger rooms, house keeping every day and a fantastic staff.

what kind of room safe? i like the number combo type, if its the key type you have to hide the key 555
never stayed here as far as a hotel, however, i do come here most times i'm in pattaya…great place for sports and to hang out…service is great as well

Me and my son were there for breakfast a few days before you stayed there. Cheap, and a really decent breakfast. We were there for the Patriot's game and stayed for 5 beers. Really nice atmosphere. This was morning and early afternoon so it was nice and quiet. Probably rocking in the evening, I'm sure.

Stayed at I-Rovers for one night a few months ago. Nice, clean room with good aircon. Great food downstairs.
25 years ago, i Lived in that part of town and it was empty….had alot of empty buildings and open fields….they were building "sutus court ll" in an open field…the street that you turn down at 7:34, soi Chalermphrakiat was completely empty buildings and fields.,was practically the edge of town…the empty buildings were all for sale at about 100,000 USD…..wow…

Hi RK, you are becoming pretty popular. You are different and let’s keep it that way. I’d even say don’t hang out with millennial type of vloggers . Some of younger vloggers (except Cheap Charlie) are petty, immature and act like spoiled brats; and spend all day trolling and dissing more popular vloggers. So best to stay clear of those immature type vloggers.
About I-Rovers: I have stayed there. I think it was the same room that you showed. I liked it. Staff is very welcoming. Restaurant is always open and their breakfast is pretty good too. Yes building is older as few comments below mentioned but it is well maintained, rooms are clean & WiFi works well. Boss Darren is a very cordial nice man. LK metro can get pretty loud and can stay loud till 3am so if you want a quiet neighborhood it’s not for you but if you are ok with it I’d say it’s a very good value.
