You might consider taking a mooch around the Pratumnak area (Soi 4,5,6) and local market on Soi 5 and the beautiful Dong Tarn beach which now connects the area with Jomtien via the new beach road with vehicular access….don’t miss a visit to Chai’s family restaurant on the edge of the market for excellent Thai food…..and Au Bon Coin owned by Jose who serves excellent “peasant food” from Provence

Involved with a Thai gal who lives in a village not too far from Bangsand. Of course I cannot get back there for awhile. Looking at retirement there. Hoping for information on retirement visa and anything news you can offer me.

I remember that place, went there way back in 2011 and 2014 when i was all loved up lol. Food was great, you pay more for it of course but it was excellent. Like these vids, keeps me in touch with Pattaya, cheers you just gave me a blast from the past.

Mate ,you have gone up a notch in my book ,you going into a Ladyboy bar because they had no customers speaks volumes what a great bloke you are .I hate seeing empty bars .and at the end of the day they are still people .As long as you let them know your'e not interested they leave you alone but can be a great laugh .It's just a bar 🤷♂️ Beef wellington looked nice ,but rather help the poorer side when i eat out
Never trust beef in Thailand unless it is imported especially in Indian Curry houses. Watch it. The best food will be in a sea food place close to 200 US for two not bad includes lobster and crab and many more.

Enjoying your videos. Good restaurant choice. My favourite in Pattaya is Suggestions Cozy Restaurant just on the darkside. Well worth the ride. For quality vs value it's the best I've had anywhere in SE Asia. Have look at their TripAdvisor. You don't need a special occasion to go there but I always feel special when I visit. I live on Thappraya Road but a stuck in the UK until they open the border. Bye for now.

That's great you did that. People need to do fine dinning at least once a year. It's the whole experience, multiple courses, bread, entree, wine, dessert, coffee, may be even a cigar afterward. Japanese and Chinese fine dining are a little different, you need to give those a try as well. Definitely money well spent.
