Hi, if you want take a Bahtbus from Rompo you can just walk to beach road through soi 5 or soi 7, much shorter walk and there are some nice bars and restauranrs too. I agree with the one who says that Pattaya is much better in the night time than Jomtien, that is mostly a place for old retired …. but I like to spend sometimes there every time I come back to Pty….. by the way, the only gogo bar in Jomtine ( We are N° 1) is worth a visit, the girls are not the best usually, but they have a fantastic musical selection

Avoid Kiss food and drink at soi Diana during daytime, the street dealers can be a really annoying.
Last time i was there i had to say no to one every 2 minutes.

Going to Pattaya tomorrow,flight from Samui to U tapao cost only 2000 baht if you have resident membership with Bangkok Air. You have to live on Samui morethan one year to get it. The cheap flights is only to Bangkok or U tapao. Good to know.
