I used to walk to Wong Amat from Beach road going up the old wooden walkway that was right at the end of the Pattaya beach. Any of you longer timers remember that?
Enjoyed that – Ive spent MANY a happy hour sitting along that stretch photographing sunsets and supping a beer. Its a delightdul break from the madness I reckon.

I think people often only hear about the seedy side, but there are some really lovely areas and this is definately one of the best.
My favourite beach in the whole world so far is at Naples FL, USA but I cannot afford to live there also the time difference is kaput for my work. This beach reminds me of that beach. It will be this beach I am on ⛱️

In soi16, parallel to the beach, is another excellent restaurant called Blue Siam.
I live in the area and love walking along the beach. Local council staff clean the beach regularly keeping the area beautiful.
How about going to the Naklua Fish market for a video?
Great video – I usually stay in Naklua every December, never seen it that quiet, and walk the length of beach often but never gone around that final bend to see the Temple. After you passed Surf & Turf there are some empty buildings behind a broken low fence, you can wander into off the beach, often wondered what they were originally and idea?
