Haunting how you see the original image full of life abd the next image full of death, looking at tagged walls and broken furnishings, just like looking at dead trees in wintertime. Very depressing, yet hard to look away from it for all of these pics has a story waiting to be told…

i like to think about the places we can go too now and imagine them in 10 years 20 years or even 30 years time maybe they will be abandoned too and we will be able to look back at them just like these places from the 60s

Sad to see how the happy days were and gone forever 💔
The places that these photos are taken from have long died, but the most chilling thing is that the people there are still alive. They can remember how life was back in the 60's and now have the capability to watch their memories of youth slowly fade into abandonment and decay.

So sad these places look so fun, colorful, and vibrant then boring locations these days. What a shame.
This reminds me of the art deco Midland Hotel in Morecambe, which was dilapidated and run down for many years, until Urban Splash developers returned it to it's former glory, and a fully functioning, modern hotel.
Of course there is graffiti over any flat surface

Goes to show you how much better ancient builders were than we are.. the ancient Egyptians and tribes in South America built pyramids that look like they were built a few decades ago, the ancient romans built roads that are still being used today thousands of years later, and nature completely swallows anything we build in a single human lifetime. Its pretty crazy. We just think were so advanced, but people that lived thousands of years ago were superior to us in building things to last and thats a fact.
