Interestingly enough you mentioned that T Land reminds you of the US -I thought the same when I visited Chaing Mai (a bit similar to an older city) with my Thai gf! I also was amazed at the size of Pattaya and Jomtien (no comparison to Santa Monica or the West Coast beach cities in terms of size-number of restaurants-bars-frequency of those blue trucks etc)

On the investing piece starting with basics on what to do and how to do could be a great start. Some investing channels are over my head and I get lost. Break it down to be simple.
Ok your nacho comment, I thought that was just me! We didn't have very many mexican restaurants in Detroit other than Taco Bell, and of course I worked there one summer home from college. 😂 Nachos are still my go to as a quick mean at home. I always have tortilla chips in the house. Oh, and el pastor tacos are the best. If you're back in the states and there's a Bakerfield's they have great el pastor tacos and cheese dip! Must know, what's your favorite toppings on nachos?
There are probably hundreds of pros to living in Thailand for me so it is easier to list just the cons
1) no land ownership
2) humidity
3) air pollution
4) lack of landscape (particularly vs Canada where I am from) Thailand is beautiful but it doesn’t compare
5) hard to develop male to male relationships with local Thai’s

Thanks for the prayers for Ukraine. I have been many times – I adopted my youngest from krememchuk when he was almost 5. His siblings were adopted by a Ukrainian family and we visited them often. Tragic. It will not blow over unfortunately.
