Softshell crab, i must remember me to eat that one day ðŠ anyhow you and Dreamy did put in big hours on the road, and had a well deserved relaxed beachfront hotel to relax ð
Anyhow we (the misses and i) had some amazing weeks in Thailand, got on the road for 5400 KM so much to see ð
Will catch up on the vids buddy cause we were busy ð i did follow you on Insta mate, so know you finished the trip, on too the next level mate ðððĨģ
And as always, C Ya in the next one, cheers ððŧ
Paddy it literally says crude oil and diesel etc on the big containers. That's an oil and gas refinery @ 13 min +/-
Woah! "My" province, finally! My family and our house is near Rayong City and I've been standing on that brigde @2:54 too! ð
Disappointing to see the beach in that state. i think I'm right in saying that in Phuket, certainly Patong, that you're not even allowed to smoke on the beach now.
Hi Paddy , what was the background music of the vlog , it sounded more like oasis .
Your 4-5 star hotels along Beach Road ( or down the sois) in north Pattaya are away from the âseedy sectionâ including Walking Street in south Pattaya. You have a nice beach promenade to walk on, three decent malls, and the public local âbaht busâ ( tuk tuk) is easy to hop on & get off. Using the local transportation ( really riding in back of a pickup) is easy once youâve experienced it. ( no obnoxious tuk tuk mafia that one encounters in Phuket). Itâs only 10 baht. Jomtien also has some decent hotels but further away from the cinemas, malls, and other attractions.
Since there have been no tourists in Pattaya for a couple years ( due to Covid lockdown) I imagine the âhospitalityâ is a bit aggressive 555
ðĪĢðĪĢðĪĢ thought they wanted directions absolutely brilliant ð ðĪĢ
Don't forgot Malaysia man. The borders are open and allow cars and motorcycles through. Would we'll be worth a visit to Penang.
Pattaya…. Red Light City
Man, you chould stay in Jomtien. Chang Charlie Inn is a great guesthouse which are quite cheap and really worth the money ð
Have a good time and safety āđāļĄāļ
Dude! We just watched this episode. You were literally less than a mile from our condo.ð when you were on the beach in Jomtien. I'm glad you were able to spend time with ms P. We head out to Krabi on Thur. We will keep an eye out for you and dreamy during our travels! Be safe and keep having fun!
8:01 You've been in a good paddock mate.
Hi Paddy, just binge watching your last few video's. Loved koh Chang and koh kood not been there for 15 years but will hopefully go there in a few months if Thailand opens up. Pattaya beaches are not the best. But you can get a ferry to the nearby Island, the beaches are better but not as good as where you have just been.
Suggest not recording your feelings when tired!
Paddy, the navy bases are "Out of Bounds" to Foreigners. I was in the same area a couple of years ago with my Thai girl friend. No Foreigners Allowed in military bases.

you need new gloves mate
Looking forward to you getting to Phuket and giving your tips and views. I arrive there end of May. Week in Phuket, week in Krabi, up to the Phrae for 2 weeks to meet my girlfriends family and explore the North then a few days in Bangkok before heading home. Your videos have helped me plan a lot of my visits.
Rayong has a huge natural gas downstream industrial area.
I mean this from the heart okay. I really admire your longevity and how you have stuck to your plan. I think back on the sisiket times when you were so low. You have achieved somthing I personally could never do
Hi Paddy actually the beach when not soaked by rain are quite nice in Jomtien and Dongtran Beach you were their after a down pour.. i have been the many times when the beaches look sandy and beautiful.. by the way you were filming at a spot where the beach rejuvenation has not reached yet you can see where it has been finished even in your video… you may want to stay in at cozi hotel in wongamat beach ( much nicer area of pattaya with a nice stretch of beach and still walking distance to beach road.).. very very close to the northern end of pattaya near the dolphin roundabout you may have found out that the holiday inn in pattaya is not cheap its expensive…L.A Rob
Great video Paddy. Out of interest which road did you take?
Hi Paddy from Jomtien
Hello from Rayong
Great tour, enjoyed. Thank youð
There's trash all over Pattaya, not just on the beach. (I resemble that remark ðĪ.)
Weâve been in the same guesthouse. I just remembered the dinosaurs in the garden
I reckon twice a week is "regularly" rather than "from time to time" but vicarious vital video. Marvellous ðð. +1
Hi Paddy…. just wanted to say you're doing a brilliant job. Top notch production values, great friendly, personal presentation and some stunning video/drone shots. My wife and I lived in Chiang Mai for a year and plan to return to Thailand for our 7th visit later this year. I'd be grateful for some advice … want to take my drone with me next time … what sort of official permissions/rules etc to be able to fly a drone in Thailand? Keep up the good work ðð
I can take Pattaya for 3 or 4 days at a time. But I think the vast majority of people are there for one reason.
This looks like you are having an incredible adventure. Enjoy every minute of it. I want to try the crab now.
As usual I love the video but I have never been more happy to be vegan than when hearing you describe soft shell crabs.. ð
I agree with you about Rsyong. I work in the Surin province but 3.5 years ago we bought a house on Mae Ramphung beach 10 km east of Rayong city. I go there and stay there about one week per month. Have never regreat buying a home in Rayong. Looked at many places along the Thai coast before we descided for Rayong.
Maybe some other commenter has pointed out that the correct pronunciation is PAHâ ty-yah.ð When I was a kid we visited a camp in Jomtian, which was virtually deserted and free of pollution and tourists back then.
I like how your video style has developed on this series, currently in a real sweet spot IMO.
