Hands down the BEST train to use if you are on a stopover requiring airport transfer between HND <-> NRT. No navigating through tokyo area stations with heavy luggage. Bring your luggage to the other airport then rest up or head back to the city to kill some time.
FYI: Starting about 1:15:00 the trains run on abandoned Narita SHINKANSEN infrastructure. Abandoned in the 1980s, the guideway was then repurposed into the Narita Sky Access Line by 2010.

I just came back from Japan. I was in Osaka and came back to Shinagawa Station by Shinkansen. To ride this train to Narita Air Port, you will need to walk almost all the way across the station to Keikyu ticket counter. At the time of ticket purchase, you will be asked to surrender Shikansen ticket. The express train is fast, running around 120 Km/hr. speed. Last station stop will be the international departure and the one before is the domestic stop. The ride and scenes were excellent. This will be the best way to get to the Narita Air Port from Tokyo area.
is this train also get crowded during morning rush hour?
Used this train also to get to Asakusa, Ginza and Tokyo Tower on my previous Japan travel. Remembered my memories of first Japan travel.
This is one my of favorite Japanese trains.

Used this train to get to Asakusa recently, so thank you for reminding me of some happy memories! Pro-tip for travellers: Find what station you'll need to get off at and make sure you know where the elevators are. Not all Tokyo stations have escalators and carrying heavy luggage up several flights of stairs is not fun. For instance, Asakusa only has one or two escalators but multiple flights of stairs. The escalators will save you so much heavy lifting!

Is only one Access Train directly to Narita Airport each hour? I really dislike to wander in station for the exchanging Train.

I rode this line in the early 1970s, a few years before this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lu6rOIUzAJk was shot. I just can't remember whether the old "Haneda Kuko" station (still a fair distance to the airport) was directly above Tenkubashi or if it was before the the little "river", closer to Anamoriinari. The grade separation between the Tama RIver bridge and near Shinagawa is amazing.
Also this train I saw can only go at 120km/h max, I hope they make it 150 or 160 to match Skyliner speeds in the Sky Access line

When I check the keisei website, it shows transfer train at Sengakuji. I am confused. Is Airport Express and Access Express is the same train? Appreciated if you can answer my question.

When i was in Tokyo, i stayed at Oshiage and did the Narita to Oshiage and back and Oshiage to Haneda and back. Never get to do the whole Narita to Haneda or Haneda to Narita. I think you should do the Narita to Haneda video so that we can view 'the other side.' This is a nice video and i really love Japanese trains, whether it is the Shinkansen or 'slow' train. Keep up the great work!

気になるといろいろ出てくるのですが、京成側の成田空港第2空港ビル駅は苦肉の策として(!?)、8両編成列車の長さがふたつ入るひとつのホームをふたつに分けて使っていますが、対岸のJRのホームもそれに負けず長いですよね。JRの編成で12両以上の列車が入ることはあるのでしょうか。これもどなたでも結構ですから教えてください。
別な話として、京成スカイライナー(京成上野~成田空港)新AE型が開始して以来、同じ新AE型でノンストップで羽田と成田を往復してもらったら面白いのではないかと一時は考えましたが、昨今、羽田は国際線、成田は国内線も拡充しているので、商売的には成り立たないでしょうね。つまらない妄想でした。
なぜかこの両空港間を結ぶエアポート快特が面白くて、「スズキダイスケ」さんの逆方向のビデオも含め、暇があればいつも見ています。
三田駅、大門駅、にある「✈次駅停車」と新橋駅にある「エアポート確認」のサインは停車する駅と飛ばす駅の確認のためにあるんですよね。運転席のパネルにも同じような案内が出るのでしょうか。止まる、止まらない、は自動運転にしてもいいような気がしますが、ブレーキのかけ加減など自動ではできないものがあるんでしょうか。

Yes, this train run across on some lines of 3 different railway companies, Keikyu, Tokyo-Metro and Keisei. Drivers changed at Sengaku-ji Station and Oshiage Station.

I used to enjoy visiting Japan just for the train rides and wonderful scenery. Now you are saving me a lot of money on plane and train fares LOL, and I'm getting to see places time might have prevented me from getting to. But I do miss out on meeting lots of wonderful Japanese people. Would it be possible to put in the names of non-stopping stations as well?
