What are the Dos and Don'ts at Tokyo Disneyland/Tokyo DisneySea?
Enjoyed your video. Thank you
You love questions on old videos, right Chris? At 1:46 you mention that it's best to avoid New Year at Tokyo Disney. I know that Christmas Eve is crazy busy there, and so would be the days off around the 1st of January. But what is the week in between like? Are lots of people taking holidays around that time in Japan. Your intel, as always, is appreciated!!
Someday I will get to go to DisneySea!
OMG I love your shirt!
Loving all the style on display here!
I’m so glad i went there nowadays!! Because of corona they limited the number of visitors and restaurants aren’t full and I didn’t need a fast pass at all!!! Btw thanks for all the tips ☺️
You are a one-man army version of DFB for Japan and China Disney and Universal parks. I see the hard work you do. I give you kudos and would like to say I am proud of you.
Great tips! Aside from staying in Disney property. Not unless you wont mind splurging uneccessary expenses. You really don't have to wake up 3 am to be there even least 2 hours before the park opens. For instance you stay in Shibuya or Shinjuku. Wake up at 430am, leave hotel at 5am arrive in Disney at 6am. And i won't mind arriving 7am too. Waiting for 2 hours in line would already drain my energy and excitement. Haha. 😁
The best Day to go is Thanksgiving! It isn't a Japanese holiday.
I like the wardrobe changes.
Great advice!! I'm an old campaigner at the original Disneyland and WDW, but I'm planning on taking the plunge with TDL and TDS in 2021 and I can use all the advice I can get. I want my first experience to be as smooth as possible and your advice is really useful. Do you sell hard copies of your ebook? I wouldn't mind having a copy I can carry with me. Again, thanks for the great video. Pounding the Subscribe button now.
Thank you!! When I go to the parks I usually get there on time but I have heard on tokyo they are hardcore!! I am going in oct. 2021!!!
Hi I'm a Japanese living abroad, but you could buy these Disney tickets (both Disney Land and Sea, packages as well) at 7 Eleven. You could simply use a printer in 7 Eleven and buy it. There's a QR code to scan your tickets for entering and getting Fast Pass tickets, so it's very useful!
How are the crowds for Thanksgiving week do you think the park will re open by then? Any character dinning in either park?
I dream of going there one day! Your videos are so helpful!
Im from canada and it wont let me use my credit card on their website, we are going in march, now that we have to wait until we are in tokyo will we might not get tickets? thanks Billi-jo
I could still go in March right?
I have two 1 day tickets on mobil voucher do I need to print them put or can they scan them on my phone?
Your clothes are beautiful❤️
Why not Monday?
Another good video
I envy the Japanese so much for their extensive and gorgeous Chip n Dale merchandise.
Went to Disneyland last year and planning on going back – thanks so much for your tips!
We loved it and managed to make it on 9 rides/attractions using the wait time app and fast passes. 😊😁
Well, it seems like I know what I'm doing…for the items to do ahead of time, I've done them. The planning of the days there? Pretty well what you just said. Guess it's time to sit back and wait for the fun times ahead!!
Hi, Chris I'm hoping you can help me I'm from Australia & I plan to go to Japan in October staying at a hotel that's a 7minute train ride away from disneyland I tried buying the 3 day pass as an e-ticket for October 22 – 24 from the official site but it only asks/allows for a Japan resident delivery
I've tried Klook which I know is an official other seller but sadly they've sold out. I've looked at the crowd calendar & see that it should be a normal crowds. Can I risk buying/ am I able to buy a 3 day pass at the park on the 21 of October as I arrive that day and have nothing planned for that day.
Any help you can give me is GREATLY appreciated thank you
Hi Chris does Tokyo Disneyland provide Premium Tour?
im not even going to japan at any point this year why am i watching lmao
I’m going to Japan tomorrow to see my family and I’m going to Tokyo Disney land
Thank you so much!! So rare to find good info about Disney Tokyo in YouTube
thanks for the tips, is there any single lane just like in Universal Osaka?
Last time i bought fast pass at universal before i saw that people who was single (like me) took the same line X'D.
thank you!!im going there in about 3 weeks^^
the official tokyo disneyland website won’t allow people to buy internationally? I live in the US and it says I need a tokyo address for the tickets
why isn't monday a good time to go?
Hey, so I was planning to go to both Disneyland and DisneySea in July but when I checked the website, around 7 attractions will be closed in DisneyLand and only one will be closed in Disneysea, should I just go to Disneysea then ?
Very informative!
I plan to purchase tokyo disneyland ticket via disney website because i travel with big group and children. My question is with disneyland printed copy, do i need to change original theme park ticket? I saw some of youtube and they do it. is it necessary and would it cost any money?
no 6 it saves your time but wastes too much of your money
should of watched this before going to Disneyland Tokyo 😅
This is SO helpful!!! Thank you so much 😊👍🏻
feel well prepared now! cant wait to leave in 8 weeks
I actually really like to ride Pooh's Hunny Hunt in the evening during the Electrical Dreamlights Parade, or right when the park is closing… usually for a second time if I managed to get a Fastpass earlier in the day.
The biggest issue with this ride is that it's always full of people/got a long line, and the queue for it is easily 60-100+ minutes for most of the day. It'll go down to 50-40 or even 30-20 towards the end of the day, which is when I try to get an extra ride in.
The thing with the Tokyo parks is that you need to know which rides are the real 'filler' ones, and which are the genuine E-ticket attractions (or at least, for the Japanese public). Pooh's Hunny Hunt is MASSIVELY popular and will remain that way for majority of the day. So is Big Thunder Mountain, ESPECIALLY with school kids (so you know what to look out for on school holidays!).
However Star Tours in Tomorrowland is nearly ALWAYS a walk-on ride in Tokyo. For some reason, Star Wars isn't as huge in Japan, so most of the times I go it's usually a 5 minute wait, the highest I've seen it go has been 15-20 minutes, I believe.
Pirates of the Caribbean can also be a 15-20 minute wait too unless you go on the wrong day/peak times.
'Medium' wait time rides are like Haunted Mansion. The wait can be pretty short especially during the parades, I've gone on it at 20, but I've also seen 60+ during high volume days. But I don't think they've even opened Fastpass queuing for that in years.
In general, Japanese parks tend to clear out more in the late afternoon/evening (ESPECIALLY true of Universal Studios Japan), so I actually like to leave "bigger rides" for after lunchtime. Also rainy days can be your friend! I've been to DisneySEA on a "rainy day" weekday and it was EMPTY. I waited like 15-20 min for Tower of Terror! If you're going on dark rides most of the time it really isn't an issue, plus it rarely rains non-stop/every hour.
Choice of day is a BIG factor in Japanese parks, as a large majority of the park-goers are adults with jobs or school students. You don't actually see that many young kids outside of school holiday/vacation times (but high schoolers are everywhere)!
Can you buy tickets online while in the US?
Is having a fastpay on rides have different price when you bought your ticket online or you will just have to convert it in there ticket booth b4 entering?
Thanks for the tips !! I'm going there in March ( Didn't even know its school holidays till you mentioned it) P.S I love that you changed your shirt for different tips, very creative haha !
