Oh Man, That Signature fish dish looks so damn delicious !!!!!!!!!!!!!
yummy..
– Your food looks amazing! Your website can look the same with just some minor enhancements. Would you be interested in updating your website at only $799? Can I have your email so I can send you details?
I want to see you try that colorful dish 🙁 the one with the lotus and shrimps
You didn't make the choo choo face so it couldn't have been that good😂
Why is he feeding you! you can't just help yourself?
That look's very yummy!
How to tell when Mark love the dish he's eating: orgasmic face 🙂
My mouth is watering! Thanks mate, clips like this really bring my memories flooding back…
Have stumbled across your and I have to say how much I love your videos. They are short, informative, put together well and just a joy to watch. I am going to Thailand in 5 weeks and will deffinately be partaking in eating street food as you've been such an inspiration. Thank you!
I'm Thai but I don't know this place. Thank for new dinner spot.
Hey Mark! Awesome video. I was in Bangkok twice in the past 5 years and the food was AMAZING. I stuck with hotel food for the first 2-3 days to acclimate my weak stomach, but then got it going on the street! I've also included your video on my blog called luxecontraveldotcom. It's about traveling luxuriously on an economy budget…you're an insipration my friend!
Best,
Sham
nice video mark… hope to come to bkk soon…..
Hi Mark
I think you should make a video blog how food blogger like you can maintain weight. I watch that you eat a lot.
Did he say he cooked the fish for 20 hours? wow i want to try that, are the bones noticeable?
Hey, send me a message from my website "contact" form, and I'll get you the guide.
Thank you!
Best wishes from Serbia!
Hey Mark! You are truly amazing! I love your videos and your personality. I wanted to buy your guide since I´m going to Bangkok in April, but we don´t have PayPal in Serbia 🙁
Anyways good job! I hope to see some videos about family owned street restaurants (with addressees or directions) and maybe about one day (food) trips outside of Bangkok. I would like to run into you while in Bangkok, shearing experiences with fellow traveler is always interesting. I appreciate everything you have done.
Hey John, thanks a lot for sharing. Glad you had some great food!
I flew to Bangkok from New York, via Narita for dinner here. As I was only to have 27 hours in BKK I had time for lunch as well. Your videos and pictures (on your site) are amazing and your choices are spot on. I ate lunch at Larb Bpet Yasothon (ร้านลาบเป็ดยโสธร – ตรงข้ามสุสาน) with one friend and then met at "The Local" for dinner with a couple other friends. The lotus leaves on the appetizer plate were amazing. I had the Chicken curry with orange leaves!! Well worth the flight for dinner!
It really all depends, normally I prefer street food, but it can be nice to occasionally sit down at a nicer restaurant. I think many street cooks are good, especially ones that are particularly busy!
Mark, what do you prefer? The street food or the restaurant food as the one you had in the video? Isn't the street food more authentic? Do you find most of the street cooks good or would you say it is hard to find a really good one?
Hey, yah I think so, let me know when you'll be coming and we can arrange!
mark il be there in november . can we meet up
Hey man! Must have missed you're last message. I'm in Malaysia now for a couple of weeks. When would you be in Bangkok next?
mark not sure if u got my last messges but was wondering if u would want ot have lunch togther next time im there. r u still in bangkok?
Hey cool, thanks for watching. If you click on that link posted in the description box right below this video, you'll see a map and directions. It's not too far from Asoke BTS station, so not far from Nana either! Yah I do like chayen too, next time! If you go, enjoy!
damn mark i want to go there can u give me proper directions. i usally stay on nanna sukmvit.
hey mark why didn u try the chayen i bet it taste good. .im a huge huge chayen fan and love to taste differnt places which has the best so far the chayen in at the bts station has the the best and who would of thought it there,
Yes, I love Nahm, though I don't eat it too often as it's quite fatty, but every now and then I enjoy it. I just visited the northern area of Thailand and ate some fish nahm, nicely sour and full of flavor. It tastes really good with raw garlic and raw chillies as well!
It's a range of traditional royal recipes and some southern Thai dishes as well.
I'd say, probably 1,500 – 2,500 Thai Baht – around $45 – $65 for 4 people. $10 – $15 per person and more with drinks.
Hey, thanks for watching, actually if you click the link below the video, I've got all the information about The Local in an article. It's a great restaurant!
what is your estimate of a 4 person meal dinning on whats in the video ? Thanks
another awesome video, could you post the address to this restaurant, its a must visit for me when I get there next June. thanks
No, I'm American, but 1/2 Chinese and 1/2 German – so some think I'm 1/2 Thai!
are you thai????
