I went to place here in Thornton other day. Its a chinese restaurant. It makes that place your at look clean. I was going offer to clean it but I have an old ass 175. I wasn't sure I could fix it. If I still had my dirt napper, maybe.
What chemical process did you use?
You did a great job with little machine….
Looks like the restaurant owner do not care about the customer. Can you imagen the kitchen ???
I use portable with citrus solve then bonetts over it after extraction. Use the green dragon and a citrus degreaser. Good job. Greedy floors are not easy
I think had u used ur worx sprayer u would have had better results, I'm not a fan of shower feeding unless its hard surface floors. U just can't get an even coat of prespray down. 🤷🏽♂️
The greasy carpets would put me off dining there, theyve come up great after the clean. Isnt vlm the best choice for these flatter carpets?
Great cleaning Paul. Long time subscriber just made a channel to start uploading my own content. Always great to get gems from a veteran in the industry.
Greasy kitchen floors is usually the cause of greasy dining areas.
I've heard of restaurants cleaning carpets on a monthly basis.
With the slip and fall liability carpet is a surprising good choice for restaurants.
H.W.E. is ideal for greasy, and other nasty carpets, but I've seen incredible results with low moisture
Methods as well.
Great Job looked amazing once you had finished
Thanks for the video. Robin says he doesn't clean restaurants. I love the challenge.
Hope you made some profit as you'll probably have to replace all those bonnets.
Check out Mark Saiger's videos where he teams up with "Big Truck Tommy" in Florida and they clean a bar carpet black with chicken wing grease. Tommy uses his big truck mount and Mark uses his Trinity OP with glad pads. Truck blasts the heavy grease then the glad pad mops up. Almost like the truck mount is a mega prespray system. The glad pads come out filthy. In other words, the TM still didn't get the carpets fully clean (even though they looked 90% better than before) but after the VLM pass they looked great. There were lighter soiled areas that Mark attacks with the Trinity that did not come cleaner after passes with the truck mount. Both guys were impressed with VLM and became "converts" and Mark is now a dual method cleaner. I think these sorts of jobs are ideal for a dual method approach.
Should have broke out the portable
lol that the one job you give to the steamer cleaners because they fight dirty so we don't have to. 🙂
Oh my the filthiest the better this episode is for me / the pads🔥🔥🔥🔥😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Most of the time the lighing is terrible making it more difficult to see.
Bwahahahahahahah!!! I must admit I chuckled when I saw what you were cleaning. Once upon a time I would undertake such jobs and still today my wife will remind me "do you remember that time we cleaned Pizza Hut"? she always remembers doing in the booths on her hands and knees with the VonSchrader upholstery machine as nothing else would fit and picking up pizza crust and other dehydrated unidentifiable things. So here is the problem with VLM and the restaurant carpet, and its the oil that has totally saturated the fibres from top to bottom to the point that the pattern is even obliterated from view. The copious amount of oil in the carpet will absolutely kill any foam generated and the cleaner becomes almost inert and run into the backing and there is no heat to emulsify the oil nor is there any volume of water to flush the emulsified oils away. The delimonene based products are most effective as the organic solvents are effective on oil but when the carpet is so saturated with oil and you are actually not effectively flushing there is a point at which you come to the limitation of VLM. In a case such as the one you have here it is best to pre spray your surfactant mixed heavy and then agitate with a fibre pad adding the emulsifier at that point by showerfeeding. There will be uneven levels of oil saturation in the carpet fibre and although it looks good when you clean the end result can be blotchy and uneven as the oils are not evenly removed. Interestingly if you used a truck mount on that carpet and immediately followed with a white cotton pad under your Eco OP the pads will turn absolutely black within ten sq ft, (ask me how I know). This was a good experience for you and will help you understand how to address these circumstances in the residential setting, although I don't think you will ever see anything quite as bad as this. Keep sharing these videos as there are a lot of newbies looking over your shoulder and as you learn they can also learn and besides its kinda funny, lol!
Great job Paul. Super heated water always helps in this kind of situation.
You can really see the pride you have in your work. I'm like you never satisfied unless it looks perfect. At the end of the day they neglected their carpet and you made it 100 fold better
Yikes 😬
I would pre spray, let it dwell, fiber pad, spray again and then go through about 50 cotton pads.
I wouldn't dine there or clean that carpet. Oh my goodness that is a mess.
Thats what I do and it comes out great
Shower feed is good for scubbing before pad or bonnet cleanning
